Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said this year’s Quds Day comes at a time when a new "equation in Palestine’s present and future" has emerged.
The spokesperson for Iran’s Constitutional Council, also known as the Guardian Council, said the country’s Constitution has emphasized the need for defending the oppressed in the face of arrogant powers.
Members of the Constitutional Council's board of jurists and Islamic jurists attended the regular weekly meeting in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on April 27.
The Islamic Republic of Iran will continue to stand by the oppressed people of Palestine until the full liberation of al-Quds, the Constitutional Council said in a statement on the occasion of International Quds Day.
Secretary of the Constitutional Council Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati said the International Quds Day has prevented the issue of Palestine from slipping into oblivion.
The spokesman of the Constitutional Council, also known as the Guardian Council, said that the vetting body has approved a bill aimed at facilitating the issuance of business permits in Iran.
Secretary of the Constitutional Council Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati highlighted the importance of moving toward the knowledge-based economy, stressing that all means should be mobilized to overcome the economic problems facing the country.
On the occasion of Nowruz, the Persian New Year,Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei delivered a live, televised speech on March 21, 2022. During his speech, besides speaking in detail about the Nowruz, the slogan of the year and the significance of national production in solving the country’s economic problems, he described the contemporary period as “one of the most openly disgraceful periods in current history in terms of oppression.”
In a statement on Friday, Iran’s Constitutional Council, also known as the Guardian Council, described the Islamic Republic Day as a milestone that put an end to centuries of monarchy in the country.
The spokesman for Iran’s Constitutional Council announced that the law watchdog body has approved the country’s national budget bill for the new Iranian fiscal year, which begins on March 21.
