Constitutional Council wraps up reviewing next year's budget bill
The Constitutional Council wrapped up its final session for reviewing the details of the national budget bill for the next Iranian calendar year 1402, which starts on March 21, 2023, the spokesman of the law watchdog body said.
"After sixteen consecutive sessions, the Council today wrapped up reviewing the general outlines of the budget bill and sent it back to the parliament for amendments," Hadi Tahan-Nazif said in a tweet on Tuesday.
The bill will be submitted to the Constitutional Council for final approval and the council will present its report on the bill within a week.
In days remaining to the end of the current Iranian calendar year, the Council will hold more sessions would probably be held for further assessing the details of the national budget bill to make sure that the country would begin the New Year on solid economic ground.
