Constitutional Council okays next year budget bill
Iran’s Constitutional Council has approved the country’s national budget bill for the new Iranian fiscal year, which begins on March 21.
In a message posted on his Twitter account on Sunday, the spokesman of the Council Hadi Tahan-Nazif wrote, “The budget bill for 1402 was approved after the ambiguities and faults were fixed”.
He added the bill was not in contradiction to the Islamic law and Constitution.
On March 15, the law watchdog body wrapped up its final session for reviewing the details of the national budget bill for the next Iranian calendar year 1402, which starts on March 21, 2023.
Tahan-Nazif also congratulated the Iranian nation on the occasion of Nowruz, wishing all Iranians a year full of joy, blessings, and health.
