Spokesperson for Iran’s Constitutional Council Hadi Tahan-Nazif held a friendly meeting with university students in the capital Tehran on December 6, on the occasion of the National Day of Constitution.

The spokesman of the Constitutional Council said certain Articles and areas of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran have been neglected and need special attention.

In a statement on Saturday, the Constitutional Council, Iran’s top law watchdog body, commemorated the National Day of Constitution.

An Iranian jurist and academic strongly censured the US for its attempts to interfere in the country’s domestic affairs and instigate riots and instability in Iran, noting that Tehran can file a lawsuit against Washington at international criminal courts for its direct role and involvement in the recent riots.

Secretary of Iran’s Constitutional Council Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati strongly condemned the Wednesday terrorist attack on the holy shrine of Shah Cheragh in the country’s southwestern city of Shiraz.

The Constitutional Council has approved a bill cutting tariffs on imports of raw material, parts and machinery.
